Altean Mice

Altean Mice
The Altean Mice are four alien mice who assist Allura. Because they shared the same sleep pod for 10,000 years, Allura has a mental connection to the mice and is able to communicate with them telepathically and understand their thoughts, while they understand her speech. The mice's names are Chulatt, Platt, Plachu, and Chuchule. Platt: the largest mouse with yellow and green fur. Chulatt: the smallest mouse with blue fur and blue eyes. Plachu: the blue mouse with red eyes. Chuchule: the pink mouse with red eyes.

The names of the Altean Mice are not initially revealed in-series, but were revealed on the interactive map of characters on the official Voltron website. Which mouse is named what was further clarified with release of Voltron Easter egg crafts.

Blaytz

Blaytz
Blaytz was the leader of Planet Nalquod and the original Blue Paladin who piloted the Blue Lion of Voltron 10,000 years ago. He held a warrior's bond and alliance with Zarkon and Alfor prior to the creation of Voltron. Much of Blaytz's personality and history remains unknown. He has shown some similarities to Lance in being friendly and confident; he seems to disregard formalities when his friendliness gets the better of him, such as Zarkon's customs that higher classes should not fraternize with servant classes. Blaytz was a skilled warrior who preferred to dual-wield in battle using two scimitars. He was presumably killed by Zarkon alongside Trigel, as Zarkon's mind reveals a memory of them weakly standing before his Bayard and surrounded by Galra Sentries.

Kythylian Mu

Kythylian Mu
Kythylian Mu is an alien serving as the reigning head of the Mu Organization overseeing the quadrant containing the Karthulian System. He is a long-time acquaintance of Coran. He and Coran devise a ruse to send the Paladins on a training mission: leading them to believe that because Coran slept for 10,000 years without making good on a bet, Kythylian takes Coran captive and will only offer his safe return if the Paladins of Voltron bring him a Yalexian Pearl from a Yalex to pay off Coran's debt. The real bet is if the Paladins can return both alive and with the Pearl. Once the Pearl is delivered, the trick is revealed, and Kythylian intends to sell the Pearl for GAC to fund fighting against the Galra Empire, even though he lost the bet because he thought the Paladins would not successfully obtain the Pearl even if they lived.

Kythylian has only appeared in the Comics and is voiced by Eric Bauza in the motion comics. According to Coran, the Mu race lives for a hundred thousand years before converting to a gaseous phase. Kythylian's belt has bottles strapped to it for feeding the five smaller Mu he carries with him.

Gyrgan

Gyrgan was the leader of Planet Rygnirath and the original Yellow Paladin who piloted the Yellow Lion of Voltron 10,000 years ago. He held a warrior's bond and alliance with Zarkon and Alfor prior to the creation of Voltron. Much of Gyrgan's personality and history remains unknown. He has shown some similarities to Hunk in his love of food. Gyrgan was a skilled warrior who preferred using his own fists and substantial strength in battle. His exact fate is unknown, but he was presumably killed by Zarkon like his fellow Paladins.

Kova
Kova is an alien feline originally owned by Honerva. After being infused with quintessence by the Altean alchemist's experiments, curing him of his ailments from the attack by the dark creatures of the reality rift, Kova was able to recover and live longer than thought possible, fueling Honerva and Zarkon's experiments and obsession with Quintessence. Ten thousand years later, Kova is owned by Narti and has a mental connection to her, allowing the Galran general to use his own eyes to see, since she has none of her own.

Between the time Honerva meets Zarkon and Alfor destroys Daibazaal, Kova ages to be 28 decafebes old. Kova's appearance changes from a bulky body with a full, bushy orange tail to slimmer and losing all orange fur on his tail aside from its tip. He also becomes more angular in design.

Nyma is an alien considered a criminal by the Galra Empire for thievery who works with Rolo in his schemes. She seeks to hand over a Voltron Lion to Commander Prorok in hopes of receiving the reward money as well as a pardon from Emperor Zarkon to clear her name and halt the Galra's pursuit of her and her crewmates, Rolo and the robot Beezer. Her attempt to steal the Blue Lion is almost successful after she uses her charm to lure Lance into a trap, but her crew is thwarted by Keith.

His attempt to steal the Blue Lion is almost successful after Nyma uses her charm to lure Lance into a trap, but their crew is thwarted by Keith.

Xi is an alien held captive on Sendak's warship and is freed by Shiro and Pidge along with a few other alien prisoners. He knows of Shiro from his days fighting in the gladiatorial games and refers to Shiro as "Champion". Although Xi found Shiro's display of feigned bloodlust terrifying back then, he trusts Shiro completely. He helps Shiro begin to recollect his memories by telling him of what he witnessed, and provides some clue as to what happened to Pidge's father and brother.
