Magic is a powerful force that is not present throughout the universe since very few beings are capable of possessing it.

Description[]

Magic is a supernatural mystical force present in the universe, although there are very few those who have decided to delve into the magical arts, unlike alien technology and quintessence, magic is a unique and versatile power.

The Alteans and the Galra are the only aliens who have been shown to be users of this, with Honerva being the most present sorceress in the entire series.

Known Magic Users[]

Alteans: despite being a people that uses alchemy more, a small group of them is capable of using the forces of magic, the only ones who have been able to use it being Princess Allura and Empress Honerva, the only Alteans are on shown in the series that have been seen with the ability to use magic.
- Honerva: Honerva started out first as just an Altean alchemist but when exposed to the dark energy of quintessence her powers became dark and corrupted turning her into the powerful witch Haggar.
- Allura: The Altean princess has been able to manipulate magical energy, being able to rival Haggar. However, unlike Haggar, Allura does not have certain knowledge and control over those powers, so throughout the series she almost never uses them.
Druids: Druids are the only Galra capable of using magic, it is unknown if they were able to use it because of Haggar or if the Galra themselves could learn magic if they wanted to.

Skills and Users[]

Throughout the series, magic has had many uses depending on the user who uses it, these being all known effects:

Magical Energy Manipulation: Magic grants the ability to manipulate mystical energy which is used for many purposes.
- Energy Projection: Launch powerful beams of energy from your hands.
- Force field:Generate energy fields
- Teleportation: Teleport to other place that one wants
Soul Manipulation: The ability to manipulate souls and control them at will.
